The Administrator or an employee who has been assigned Manage Course/Batch privileges can delete a Batch when it is no longer required.
A Batch cannot be deleted if it still contains associated data such as:
- Students
- Subjects
- Gradebook records
- Examination module records
- Related academic dependencies
Before deleting the Batch, ensure all linked data is removed.
For Schools (K–12 Structure)
Step 1: Open Manage Course/Class
Navigate to:
Menu → Administration → Settings → Manage Course/Batch → Manage Course
Step 2: Select Class
Choose the Class.
Example:
Grade 10
The system displays all associated batches.
Example:
- G10 – A 2026
- G10 – B 2026
Step 3: Remove Associated Data
Before deleting:
Remove:
✔ Students
✔ Subjects
✔ Gradebook records
✔ Examination records
Step 4: Delete Batch
Click Delete beside the required batch.
Example:
Delete G10 – A 2026
Step 5: Confirm
Click OK to confirm.
For Universities and Colleges (Higher Education Structure)
In Universities and Colleges, a Batch generally represents:
- Semester
- Intake
- Session
- Academic Year
Delete Batch through Manage Course
Step 1: Open Manage Course
Navigate to:
Menu → Administration → Settings → Manage Course/Batch → Manage Course
Step 2: Select Course
Choose:
Computer Science Engineering
The system displays associated batches.
Example:
- CSE – June 2026
- CSE – December 2026
Step 3: Remove Dependencies
Remove:
✔ Students
✔ Subjects
✔ Gradebook exams
✔ Examination records
Step 4: Delete Batch
Click Delete beside the batch.
Example:
Delete:
CSE – June 2026
Step 5: Confirm
Click OK
Note :
- Ensure that all student admissions, subject allocations, examinations, and Grade book dependencies are removed before attempting deletion.
- Once a batch is deleted, the action cannot be undone.
- Users without the required privileges will not be able to view or perform batch deletion actions.
