Create New Assignment

To create the assignment. Follow the steps below:


1. Click the module access icon > Academics > Assignment to open the All assignments page.

2.In the top left, click the Create new assignment button.

 

3. In the course field. Select the course. Once course selected. Batch and subject fields will appear. 

4.Then select the batch and subject. The students who take the subject are displayed on the right.

5.If Enable comments. Any student/Teacher can add comments. It is Public.

6.If Enable submission turned on. Online/Offline submission drop-down will appear. (If turned off students can't submit the assignment. They can view the content of the assignment.)

7.Assignment type

  Online-In the mode, Students need to submit the assignment assigned.

  Offline- In this mode, the Student can't submit the assignment instead, the teacher has to mark this as submitted.

8. In the Title field, enter the name of the assignment.

9.If Enable due date is selected then you should specify the due date and you allow the late submission or not allow. If disabled then in assignment due date will not reflect.

10.Marks/Grade- You can grade assignments with Marks/Grade (Grading profile will be imported from Gradebook)

11.You can add the additional fields from the assignment setting.

12.Add the content, You can attach a file((Max 5MB each, 10MB in total))

13.Save as Draft/Publish. Once published students get notified. The assignment is successfully created.

 

 Note: New assignments can be created by admin as well as teachers or privileged employees.
