Process Flow - Start using Fedena

Fedena admin is the supreme user and can access all the modules and features of Fedena. This user can create multiple users and provide them with the access to work with all the modules.


If you are a first time user, the steps to follow are-


  1. Login as  Administrator using the username admin and a default password admin123

  2. Configuring the general settings includes providing some basic information about your institution.

  3. Creation of all the courses/classes, batches and subjects present in the institution.

  • Course/class name needs to mentioned with a code

  • There can be multiple batches under one course/class

  • Each batch name is going to hold the course/class title

  • Its mandatory to mention the duration of the academic year

  • While creating a batch for the second time onwards, the user can import the subjects and fee created from the previous batch

  1. Configure your SMS package in the SMS settings of your accounts panel. Perform the required settings in SMS module(Settings => SMS Module => SMS Setting) as an admin.

  2. Configure Human resource module settings;

  • List the various categories of employees in your institution

  • List the various positions available under each of these categories

  • List the various departments prevailing in your institution

  • List the number of working days to calculate loss of pay.

  • Create and list all your leave types and it’s additional details.

  1. Perform data entry for all the employees in your institution using human resource module. Import bulk data using add on module - Custom Import.

  2. Assign privilege for each employee while you import data.

  3. Assign subjects for each of the employee.

  4. Perform data entry for all the students in your institution using student admission (quick links => student => student admission). Preferably utilize custom import for effective implementation.

*After student admission, either continue with step 10 & 11 or start with step 12.

  1. Create a timetable for a duration

  • Set the class timings

  • Choose the weekdays

  • Select the duration

  • Assign subject and subject teacher

  1. Mark student attendance using attendance module. It provides the option to choose the type of attendance pattern.

  2. Creation of fee structure for the batches.

  • Create a master category for a set of batches

  • Create particulars inside the master category

  • Create discounts and fine.

  1. Choose the appropriate grading pattern to create examination

  • Create examination

  • Schedule the examination

  • Evaluate and enter the scores
