Learning a new software is always tricky and time-consuming and there is no easy or short-cut way to it. Just like how every relationship requires time and effort from everyone involved, learning Fedena is also a journey made by both, the product and your institution. Fedena comes with 100s of features and even though it’s the most user-friendly software out here, it still needs the time to understand your institutions’ processes and data to provide the solution you are looking for. That will only happen if you help Fedena learn so that it can help you understand your data. Please take all the time you can to go through these first few articles to get a complete understanding of how Fedena is going help your institution in the best way.
Preparing your Institution for Fedena
- The first important task for any institution is to assign a key person or a team the responsibility of learning Fedena. Usually, in our experience with over 40000 institutions, we have seen that the institutes that make a team learn Fedena, are the most successful.

Implementation Process and Training
Fedena ERP is a comprehensive School ERP and Enterprise Resource Planning solution designed to help institutions manage their complete academic and administrative operations digitally. Since Fedena is a feature-rich platform with multiple modules and workflows, the implementation process is carried out in a structured and phased manner to ensure smooth adoption within the institution.
Implementation Process
The implementation of Fedena generally takes a few weeks depending on the institution’s requirements, existing processes, and the amount of data to be migrated into the system.
One of the most important phases during implementation is Data Entry and Data Migration. Institutions may already have existing student, employee, academic, fee, attendance, and examination data stored in different formats such as Excel sheets, legacy software, or offline records. For a successful implementation, institutions are expected to gather and organize the required data so that it can be entered or imported into Fedena efficiently.
Fedena supports:
- Manual data entry
- Bulk import through CSV/Custom Import
- Migration of institutional records in supported formats
Dashboards and User Access
Fedena provides multiple dashboards and role-based access for different users within the institution, including:
- Super Admins
- Administrators
- Teachers
- Students
- Parents
- HR and Finance Teams
Users with higher-level administrative access will also have access to the Fedena Accounts Panel, while teachers, students, and parents will primarily access the School Dashboard and mobile application.
Hosting Options :
Fedena can be implemented in two different hosting environments:
- Cloud Hosted (SaaS) – Hosted on Foradian/Fedena servers
- Self Hosted – Hosted on the institution’s own server infrastructure
Both hosting options have separate implementation approaches and setup requirements.
During implementation, institutions are encouraged to understand the workflows for different user roles such as:
- Teachers
- Students
- Parents
- Administrators
This helps ensure smooth onboarding and adoption across the institution. Many institutions also provide workflow handouts or training materials to staff members for better understanding and usability.
Third-Party Integrations
Fedena can also be integrated with multiple external applications and services already used by the institution, including:
- SMS Gateways
- Email Services
- Biometric Devices
- Payment Gateways
- Mobile Notifications
Most of these configurations can be managed through the Fedena Accounts Panel.
Training and Support Process
The implementation and training process provided by the Fedena Team is scheduled for a period of 45 days from the date of onboarding.
During this period:
- Product implementation assistance will be provided
- Training sessions will be conducted for the required modules
- Query handling and workflow guidance will be provided
- Support will be extended for the initial setup and operational understanding
Once the 45-day implementation and training period is completed, the institution will officially be transitioned to the Customer Support Team for ongoing support and assistance.
Post handover, all future queries and support requests can be addressed through:
- Toll-free support channels - +91-1141171481(Country Code is Mandatory )
- Official support email communication - Support@fedena.com
- Ticket-based support system
This structured implementation and transition process ensures smooth onboarding, operational continuity, and long-term support for the institution.
