The ICSE grading system is based on marks and grades. After a teacher has evaluated the answer sheets, the teacher can enter the marks in Fedena and then publish the results so that it can be viewed by students and parents.

Who can enter marks?

  • The administrator can enter marks for any subject even if the administrator is not associated to a subject.

  • A teacher can enter marks for only associated subjects.

  • If the Examination Control or Enter Marks privilege is provided to a teacher, the teacher can enter marks for any subject even if the teacher is not associated to a subject.

At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Examination > Exam Management to open the Create Exam page.
  1. Select a class.

  2. Select a batch.

  3. Click the exam group. All subjects are displayed.

  4. Click the subject for which you want to enter marks.

You can sort students by Name, Admission no., or Roll number by clicking the table column headers.

  1. Enter the marks and remarks for each student.

Note: Employees can enter marks only for subjects they are associated to.

  1. Select the Absent checkbox if a student was absent. Students marked absent are indicated by a hyphen (-) for the corresponding subject in the exam report.

  2. Click the Save button. The corresponding grade is automatically displayed based on the grading level settings.

  1. To enter IA scores for each subject, in the top right, click the IA Scores button.

  2. Click on a student’s name and enter the IA scores.

  1. Click the Save button.

  2. After you have entered the EA and IA marks for all students, go back to the exam group page and click Publish Exam Results.

Note: Only employees with Examination Control privilege can publish exam results.

If you want to remind the students later again that the exam results were published, click Resend SMS notification.
