How can a student attend an online exam?

Modified on Tue, 24 Mar, 2020 at 3:40 PM

An exam will be made accessible to students only during the set dates. Before starting the exam, the student will see the following screen which will include the name of the exam, the time duration, and the minimum percentage required to pass.

When the student clicks the Start Exam button, the exam will begin in a separate window as seen in the image below.

Once the exam begins, the student cannot pause or stop the exam. A countdown timer is shown in the top right. When the timer runs out, the exam is submitted automatically with whatever answers the student has filled in.

For exams with many questions, each page will have five questions. Students can jump to any page using the pagination links at the bottom of a page.

Students can skip a question and later come back to the related page and attempt the question.
