Since IA for students is evaluated based on multiple criteria, you can create the assessment group that defines the evaluation criteria and the formula to be used to calculate final IA score for a student.


At
the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Examination > Settings > Internal Assessment Groups to open the IA Groups page.

  1. In the Name field, enter the name of the IA group.

  2. In the Description field, enter a brief description about the IA group.

  3. In the ICSE Exam Category field, select the exam category this IA group applies to.

  4. In the Name field, enter the name of the evaluation criteria. For example, Practical, Case Study, Assignment, and so on.

  5. In the Indicator field, provide an indicator for the evaluation criteria that will be used to calculate the final IA score for a student.

  6. In the Maximum mark field, enter the maximum mark for this evaluation criteria.

  7. Click Add indicator to add more evaluation criteria.

  8. In the Formula field, enter the formula to be used to calculate the IA for a student.

    Refer to the various examples on the right that can be used.

  1. Click the Create button.

   To edit an internal assessment group, click Edit.

   To delete an internal assessment group, click Delete.
